Exciting news about an upgrade to our First Western Fraud Center.
Beginning February 10, 2020, our Fraud Center will operate in real time to catch fraud before it starts.
What does this improved service mean for you? Simply put, this is increased protection for your account.
What do you need to do? For your protection, all First Western debit card customers are monitored by our Fraud Center. To ensure you receive communication from our Fraud Center, please replace previous FWB Fraud Center phone numbers in your contacts or save the phone numbers listed below. When suspicious activity occurs, you will be contacted via text, e-mail and / or phone call to determine if the transaction is legitimate or not. It is imperative that you quickly read and answer these texts, e-mails or calls to prevent your debit card from being blocked. These messages will reference the FWB / First Western Bank Fraud Center and give you instructions for responding. Please add the following numbers to your contacts:
- First Western Fraud Center # 800-237-8990 (caller ID may show as UNKNOWN, calls will only be made between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the time zone in which you live)
